Free Alternatives To The Samantha Font

The font used above is Samantha.  It's pretty hard to find another font with this many options for each letter - some letters have 20 different options in this font!  Note the 3 different lower case T's in the example above.   How to use the Samantha Font In Cricut Design Space http://fieldsofhether.blogspot.com/2017/11/using-samantha-font-in-cricut-design.html Cliff Notes - you need to use a character map, Maintype logic is my freeware favorite. It's hard to beat the Samantha font.  It has SO many pretty glyphs, and many options for each letter.  It's almost always on sale for $14 at Mighty Deals, and eventually most cricut owners cave and buy it.  But there are a few free alternatives that might work in its place, depending on what you are looking for. The free fonts do not have nearly as many options - some have no real options at all, which can make them much easier to use as well.  None of these would actually replace Samantha, but they might work if you are lookin

I still have a lot of painting to do - the sides of thesteps, and the top of every other step yet...  but the vinyl is done! FAQS: Sketch out a basic plan for the books & order. (I asked all of my kids what their favorite books were growing up, each of their favorites are on here.) Paint the steps with craft paint - the 50 cents a bottle stuff from wal-mart.  Mix colors together to get the right shades.  Often I add brown or grey or black - just a drop - to get the shade I want. Measure each step.  Especially if you have an old house.  Not only are ours not all the same size, but sometimes one step isn't the same size the whole way across.  :-) I used Dollar Tree Contact paper as my transfer tape I used vinyl.  Orcal 651.
