I keep promising myself I'll get better pics of this area, but I never do, so this is what I already had, in answer to a popular question on facebook groups about small space craft organization.  This is my space, how I organize it, and the tools I use. This area is part of my laundry room.  I'm standing with my back against the washer and dryer to take this photo.   The ironing board is where I iron on all of my htv, and I often use this as a table/work space for other projects as well.  Yes, I know everyone says you cannot use an ironing board.   I don't know what to tell them - I do.  No problems.  I use that iron sitting there, a silicone baking sheet inside/or under the item, parchment paper on top of the transfer sheet, and I iron.  I've done at least 100 projects this way now - and none of them have peeled.  I don't wash them special either - everything goes right in the regular laundry here, washer & dryer, unless it's n...

I started this project with http://simpleasthatblog.com/ In January, I filled out the sheet she supplied that gave me a basic idea of how much I have to deal with this year.  It's a lot.  :-)  In January I also got all of our cds copied off an onto an external hard drive.  I bought one with wifi that is called a digital cloud - that way I can access it from anywhere.  Of course, throughout the month I found MORE cds in other places, so it's never actually done I don't think, but it's a huge amount of progress. I'm working on the 1 year to more organized photos challenge with: http://simpleasthatblog.com/2015/01/getting-started-one-year-organized-photos.html  It is pretty overwhelming, looking at all of the places I have photos. I still have FILM. Actual film. (Recently I had some of it developed, and even though very old, I got prints. From 1997. So I need to take the rest of it in and see what is on those rolls).  Then even though I have more photos here than I think I can ever work through, I also need to make time to visit my mom regularly, and scan a lot of her photos from the years when I did not have a camera and she took tons of pics of my kids.  I sketched out a rough plan, with reminders, to work on two shutterfly albums a month, get ALL of my digital photos on to my WDCloud, etc...  Today I copied 6 more (of about 80 total) dvds to the cloud drive, cleaned up all of my shutterfly albums, cleaned of ALL of the flash drives, and finished about 3/4 of our Disney alb...
